Party: 2015 Duke Chinese Dance Auditions!!!

Fall auditions for Duke Chinese Dance (DCD) are approaching! If you're interested in joining (and we are open to people of all gender, race, age, or level of exprience!) we welcome you to come and attend our auditions.

DCD is comprised of diverse individuals with a common passion for dance and sharing Chinese culture. We perform at many events throughout the Duke, Durham, and Triangle-Area. You can check us out at www.dukechinesedance.com

Audition Times/Locations are:

PART ONE: Friday, September 4 @ The Ark from 6pm-8pm
PART TWO: Sunday, September 6@ The Ark from 6pm-8pm

***Both parts are mandatory!

PART ONE of your audition starts at 6pm on Friday, September 4 in The Ark on East Campus. Plan on arriving 5-10 minutes early to stretch, warm up, and register. You will learn a short segment of a DCD dance in a large group and then perform it in a small group.

PART TWO of your audition starts at 6pm on Sunday, September 6 in The Ark on East Campus. Plan on arriving 5-10 minutes early to stretch, warm up, and register. You will learn and perform another short segment of a DCD dance in a different style from the dance you learned in part one of auditions.

P.S. Wear clothes that allow you to dance easily :)
