Nosaj Thing이 프로듀서들의 집합인 Low end theory의 수장으로 나타나 2009년 Drift LP를 통해 나타난지 6년 째 되었다. 그는 일렉트로닉스, 덥 인스트루먼털, 충돌하는 비트 그리고 몽롱하게 몰아치는 화염과도 같은 분위기의 유니크한 결합으로 개방적인 파티의 세계적인 관중들을 당황시킨다. 특별한 영화적인 분위기를 West Coast 비트 씬에 시도하면서, Nosaj Thing은 4년의 시간을 기다려 2013년 Innovative Leisure의 “Home”으로 그의 Alpha Pup 데뷔를 치르며 스스로의 프로젝트를 제때 소화하는 유일한 자다. 그의 라이브 퍼포먼스는 그의 믿음직한 Akai MPD 32로 자신의 샘플곡을 파괴시키며 그의 트랙들을 스튜디오 제작 때의 딥한 톤과는 완전히 극단적인 대조를 이루며 열광적인 에너지로 재해석하는 모습을 보여준다. 그의 음악은 또한 Dugan O’neil 같은 영화제작자 그리고 Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, 최근에는 그가 프로듀서로서 발굴한 Chance the Rapper와 함께하며 청중들의 마음을 흔들기도 한다. 그의 강력한 리믹스의 기준이 될 만한 것에는 Charlotte Gainsbourg, Boris, Drake, Radiohead, The xx를 포함하고 있으며 그의 라이브 셋은 예의주시해야만 할 것이다.

It's been 6 years since Nosaj Thing emerged from the vanguard of Low end theory affiliated producers with 2009’s Drift LP. He confounded a worldwide audience of open-minded ravers with his unique marriage of glitchy electronics, dubby instrumentals, bumping beats, and a fuzzy blizzard of blazed ambience. Bringing a certain cinematic atmosphere to the West Coast beat scene, Nosaj Thing is one to take his due time with his projects, waiting four years to follow up his Alpha Pup debut with 2013’s "Home" on Innovative Leisure. His live performances see him racking his samples along his trusty Akai MPD 32, and re-interpreting his tracks with frenetic energy, in stark contrast to the deep tones of his studio productions. Chung’s music has also struck a chord with film makers like Dugan O'neil and rappers like Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, and recently Chance the rapper, for whom he has produced for. The touchstones of his remix arsenal include Charlotte Gainsbourg, Boris, Drake, Radiohead, and The xx and his live set is something to behold.
