Calling Berlin his home the classical trained producer Ben Mono is originally from Munich. For the past 15 years he was active on various cutting edge and genre defining platforms such as Ed Banger, Gomma, Compost, Exploited, Permanent Vacation, Top Billin’, Stil Vor Talent, This Ain’t Bristol and Boysnoize Records to finally come back to his roots and that music that has always been the main influence since day one: UK related clubmusic. While calling Berlin Techno-city his home, the strong connection to the British scene now shows itself through his latest releases coming out on some of his favorite labels which are focusing on the more syncopated version of Housemusic: Strictly Rhythm, Simma Black and Kerri Chandler’s own Madtech Records.
