Dedicated, hardworking, and energetic – three words that is probably the best attempt to briefly describe what the Norwegian hot-shot Ørjan Nilsen is about. In the last few years he has been wow’ing audiences across the planet with his take on what a 21st century DJ and producer should be about.

Born in 1982 in the Norwegian town of Kirkenes, Ørjan has had very little doubt about what he wanted to do with his life, having listened to countless CD compilations, and seeing some of the legends DJing, Ørjan knew that the DJ booth would be his domain one day.

Ørjans work with the dutch label Armada Music started with the track “Red Woods” released in 2006 under his DJ Governor alias, and over the years Ørjan found his groove, flashing samples of his huge potential, with “La Guitarra” (2008), Lovers Lane and So Long Radio (2010). Ørjan went on to release his first artist album in 2011 titled “In My Opinion” which stormed up sales charts and catapulted Ørjan onto the watch-list of every EDM-fan around.

Even though “In My Opinion” was very successful, Ørjan showed no intention of slowing down, quickly releasing mammoth tracks like “Viking”, “Atchoo” (2011) and opening 2012 in collaboration with Armin van Buuren and the aptly titled “Belter” followed by his own “Amsterdam” and “Endymion” before finishing out the year with club-destroyers “Copperfield” and “Filthy Fandango”.

As a DJ, Ørjan Nilsen quickly established himself with an infectious blend of all things chunky and groovy, his energy and presence behind the decks has taken him around the world playing at some of the world’s finest clubs and biggest festivals, from Sao Paulo to Sydney and many places in-between. It has been a remarkable journey which resulted in recognition from industry heavyweights.

One thing is certain, there is no stopping this Norwegian prodigy, as he is on a mission, be it in the studio or in the DJ booth, Ørjan Nilsen is determined to surprise, amaze and entertain, and you would not want to miss out.

Leaving a mark on charts, dance floors and music enthusiasts the world over, Dutch born MaRLo backs up the #1 Best Trance DJ and #2 overall DJ in Australia with no justification required. From Beatport #1’s escaping the studio to headlining some of the most sought after dance events in the world, MaRLo is influencing trance, tech trance and progressive house music like no other.

With a solid European beginning, now Australian residing MaRLo took inspiration from pioneers Mauro Picotto, Aphex Twin, Ferry Corsten and The Prodigy where the studio came before the shows and a live act was how he ignited. Recent anthem Boom not only took #3 on Beatport’s paramount ladder but carried its weight when Armin Van Buuren shared a moment with tens of thousands of fans awakening the “Boom dance”, going viral in just days! Just prior to Boom, The Island featuring Jano claimed #1 spot on Beatport while the Megalodon and Lightning EP’s both upheld strong spots also. Claiming top 10 glory is the anticipated mid year release from MaRLo- Always Be Around breaching the norms globally.

In the remix world, fellow artists demand the finesse of MaRLo following the success of Ferry Corsten’s Punk winning over #3 spot on Beatport while the remix of Armin Van Buuren presents Gaia’s Stellar stole away the prize at #5. Dash Berlin has too created hype around this dominating artist with his remix for Like Spinning Plates featuring Emma Hewitt while W&W too were enlightened by MaRLo’s remix of Impact.

Behind the decks, MaRLo sets ablaze A State of Trance crowds from Privilege Ibiza, ASOT 600 in Beirut to Den Bosch.
