Elixir Cocktail Club's weekly meeting is a special one on this day as we welcome author, journalist and whiskey expert Fred Minnick to town to talk to people about his book "Whiskey Women: The Untold Story of How Women Saved Bourbon, Scotch & Irish Whiskey". We'll have some books for sale courtesy of Omnivore Books and a tasting of SIA Scotch, a new blended scotch whisky brand created local female entrepreneur Carin Luna-Ostaseski.
It all kicks off at 7pm, like every other Cocktail Club meeting!
About the book:
Without women, whiskey may not exist. About the whisky:
SIA (pronounced “SEE-a”) is a new, fresh and exciting Scotch Whisky created specifically to appeal to a modern palate. The striking amber color of clover honey, SIA awakens the nose with citrus and spice and opens the palate with the smoky vanilla crunch of a crème brulée.
