What do Andy C, Pendulum, Friction, Ed Rush + Optical, Doc Scott, Bad Company, Noisia, State Of Mind, Concord Dawn, Cause 4 Concern all have in common? They’re all major supporters of Nightfall Recordings, the world-class drum n bass label from producers Psidream + Pacific.

After a brief hiatus, the Vancouver-based beatmakers have returned with a defined sound, relentless neurofunk that forms the soundtrack to a dystopian future, where surgical beats collide with twisted basslines and haunted melodies.

A run of successful singles on many of the top labels in the scene cemented their place in DnB history, but the recent output on Nightfall has the duo firmly looking towards tomorrow. The recent Edge E.P. took the world by storm, announcing a revival of the rolling future funk the pair have long championed, but with modern twists.

The forthcoming Pacific E.P. “Nightlines” is next up, 4 tracks of high-octane dancefloor action, and will be followed by the second collaborative extended player from both artists that includes their most realized efforts yet.

Expect the ground to shake over the coming months as Psidream and Pacific continue their seismic assault on sound systems everywhere.
