The Going Goods

The Going Goods are a contradiction. They make hip hop for people who don’t really like hip hop, sing blues that sounds kind of happy, are an acoustic band with a beatbox percussion…

It’s a contradiction that works. Based almost slap bang in the middle of England the five piece was formed in 2012 by four university friends and a postman.

Their debut EP, Blame it On The Week, was released the same year. It found an instant audience thanks to its combination of uplifting acoustic guitar, soulful melody and easy going rap chat.

The Going Goods flow with a catchiness that will have their tunes looping inside your head. Add to this an infectious feel good factor that comes with their live performances. The band have been touring extensively since the release of follow up EP, Sunshine Mantra.
