The first Tuesday of every month sees The Picturedrome play host to some of the best comedic talent on the current circuit and has fast gained a reputation for showing a diverse and impressive selection of comedians.

Celebrating the cream of comedy, this monthly event delivers world class comedians and the freshest and funniest emerging talent.

ROB ROUSE

Since winning Channel Four's prestigious 'So You Think You're Funny?' Competition at the Edinburgh Festival in 1998, an award previously won by Phil Kay, Dylan Moran, Lee Mack, Tommy Tiernan and Peter Kay, Rob has been a regular performer at major venues on both the London and National circuit.

Rob has returned to Edinburgh three times; in 1999 compering The Comedy Zone at the Pleasance and co-wrote and performed The Big and Daft Comedy Show, winning critical acclaim and returning in 2000 with Big and Daft in Space, and 2001 with The Big and Daft Christmas show, massive hits with punters and critics alike.

FOIL, ARMS & HOG

Sean Finegan (Foil), Conor Mc Kenna (Arms) and Sean Flanagan (Hog) work out of a small office in Dublin writing comedy for TV, Radio, Media and the stage.

They met at university and soon after created the comedy group with the most convoluted name in history: Foil Arms and Hog. Recently they completed a world tour taking in Chicago, San Francisco, LA and Adelaide, culminating in a sell-out show at Dublin's Vicar Street.

This summer they sold out their sixth Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a brand new show called "Loch'd". Currently they are filming for Tv3's upcoming six part chat series Jason Byrne's Snaptastic.

JEN BRISTER

After performing in front of the legendary Spike Milligan and receiving the luminous and prestigious title of having ‘a great pair of Bristols,’ Jen knew that comedy was the way forward. So with the help of two jokes and a push up bra she was on her way…

Since that heady day Jen has performed stand up in clubs all over the country (literally) as well as sketch comedy in numerous groups including the Loose Connection.
