-In the Winter 2011 semester, The Dawson Chill club was able to hold a school-wide vote, with help of the Dawson Student Union, in question of if the school would like a "Student-Run Lounge" on campus. The votes results came in, 1000 Yes against 40 No. Congratulations to everyone!
-For the school year of 2011-2012, the executives will be faced with one of the most challenging years of the club, as it may the be final year to prove to adminstration that we are both credible and motivated to finally create the Student-Run lounge on campus. All our best wishes to the next team coming in.

What is a Club? A club is something made to bring people together under a common interest right? We've seen what Dawson's like under its daily routine. Trust me when I say that no club is better than one you helped create, helped be apart of and shape. This club was built by students, for students, with the simple interest of people interested to meet new people. Those original members have grown into different individuals; so much history they'll tell you. This club is a story in its own to so many of us; your own, will depend on if you want to start. Come join us this semester, and we'll show you why College is just another reason to think life is awesome.
Originally, this was a club at Dawson college aimed at reviving student spirit and rejuvenating the positive, social vibe in the school. We functioned as a community center for Dawson Students. Now... Now we're not only one of the biggest clubs in Dawson, but we want more. We want something like Oliver's. We want to leave a mark in Dawson for the students in the future to come and take a piece of what it feels to be comfortable in the cegep life. We want that lounge to call our
"spot back in the days."
