Its a rare chance to see Martin play LIVE in the dark underground setting of Public Works on the crisp Function1 sound system. Because you usually have to catch Martin behind a 30 foot stage at a festival somewhere in Europe. Not to mention he get invited to play at all of the most sought after shows and clubs across the globe, from Circoloco, to Cocoon, to Music On, … In 2011 and 2012, the house and techno industry voted for their top 20 LIVE Acts on ResidentAdvisor.com and Martin Buttrich was voted #10 and #8:

The reason behind this is not only his imaculable productions but that Martin Buttrich has been one of the most talked about producers in the underground house and techno industry. His skills in the studio have left everyone in awe. In collaboration, he’s produced pop (The Sugarbabes), Italo house (Sounds of Life) and progressive (over one hundred collaborations with Timo Maas). He’s even been nominated for a Grammy (remixing Tori Amos ‘Don’t Make Me Come to Vegas’). But it wasn’t until 2006 that Buttrich came to prominence under his own name, releasing 12”s on Four:Twenty, Poker Flat and Carl Craig‘s Planet-E (‘Full Clip’). In 2007 Martin and Loco Dice founded Desolat records which has been a massive success. Lately you can find Martin playing at the top festivals and events around the globe.

Now add a special live performance by GUTI to this night. Under the mentorship of Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich, GUTI is an integral part of the Desolat records family. He is one of the most in demand underground artists of the industry, playing with Marco Carola, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and of course Loco Dice at the hottest parties in Ibiza this summer. Not to mention producing some amazing tracks on Defected records, Desolat, Cross Town Rebels, Cecille, Carl Cox's Intec, Viva and many more. His track "Hope" on Defected Records was one of the biggest hits of the summer. Don't miss this rare chance to catch him Live at Public Works. He has been voted in the top 20 live Acts on ResidentAdvistor.com for the last 3 years in a row, and in 2013 he was #5

Martin Buttrich Bio

Martin Buttrich is famously as fluent behind a mixing console as in front of a virtual drum kit. That technical prowess, combined with a fascination for music of every shape, has resulted in outstanding releases on influential labels such as Planet E, Four:Twenty, Cocoon, Poker Flat, Nervous and Desolat. He’s also put his sonic thumbprint on many big ticket artists, notably receiving a Grammy nomination for a Tori Amos remix in 2003. Such diverse musical horizons are rare. While other prolific artists may have slowly watered down their music, Buttrich’s star has risen in diametric opposition. His vision has become more and more condensed, more and more crystallised. Flipping and puncturing grooves in a live setting is a snap for him, and he’s entranced audiences at festivals like Time Warp and Creamfields, at temples of boom such as Fabric (London), Womb (Tokyo), Cocoon (Frankfurt), Panorama Bar (Berlin) and Amnesia (Ibiza) and at worldwide Desolat Experience parties with Loco Dice.

Guti Bio

"Drawing up his own way" is the philosophy of Guti. He shoned in the world of Jazz at early age, he demonstrates to be a sensible & intense pianist, with his own language, playing in some of the biggest stadiums & winning gold records in South America in the last decade as a rock musician. In 2006, life take him to a new path: Techno music. Curious, ironic & creative, fusing electronic music with his jazz & latin roots, Guti quickly became one of the most eager & interesting producer of the Latino American house scene. He shown his amazing live set in the best clubs of the world touring as a Desolat Artist. Currently his music is also running on Crosstown Rebels, Raum, Musik, Wolf & Lamb and Supplement Facts.
