Portuguese "wonder boy" Pedro Carrilho is definitely no stranger to electronic music.
If you're familiar with the iberican dance-scene than chances are you have stumbled upon some of his dancefloor killers!
Filling the likes of artists such as Chus & Ceballos, Kurd Maverick, Carl Cox, Dr Kucho, Copyright, Gregor Salto, Roger Sanchez or Mastiksoul (among many others),
he first caught the attention of the club industry in 2005/06, thanks to several releases on spanish label Stereo Productions.
Nowadays, you can find his tracks among labels / compilations such as Ultra Records, Defected, Ministry of Sound, Kontor, Spinnin Records, etc. "Studio work takes most of my time, but I love it... it pays off, I guess!" he says. And even though his love for sound-design and analog gear earned him the "Best Portuguese Producer" nomination, DJing remains his greatest passion! Carrilho's irreverent mixing skills caught the media's attention and got him nominated "Best Upcoming DJ" in 2009/2010, thereby proving that one of Portugal's finest talents was here to stay! In his own words: "Creating exciting new tracks and making people happy with my music is the main goal. I trully think that the best is yet to come. So, come with me and enjoy the ride!".
