Pierre Serafini was born on 1982 in the East of France, where he'll stay and study for 20 years, living the successive de-industrialisation of his homeland, year after year.
This context definitely got his tastes for haunting textures, melancholy-infused soundscapes and abstract percussions set up during his early years as a guitarist. In several post-punk and shoegaze bands, he starts developing a strong interest for sonic experimentation, and grows an obsessive collection of analogue effects unit to shape and distort his guitar sounds, following the likes of Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood or Sonic Youth' Jim O'Rourke.
During recording sessions of what would be his last band adventure, he discovers sampling with an Akai S2000 device. Then everything changed.
