Party: Northampton Town family fun day

Large crowds are expected to attend the Northampton Town family fun and open day at Sixfields on Sunday July 23rd.

Gates will open at 1030am with activities scheduled to get under way at 11am.

Admission is free and the day will include an open training session, where supporters can watch Justin Edinburgh and his staff put the players through their paces, a giant team photo involving players and supporters, a football match on the Sixfields pitch between all young supporters attending and the first team and a chance to meet the players for pictures and autographs.

The day will also include stadium tours and fun for all of the family with a number of the club's partners attending, providing fun games and activities for supporters of all ages.

"We had a very successful open day last summer and we are once again inviting everyone down to Sixfields to enjoy some fun and games with us for what we are sure will be an even bigger event than last year," said Chairman Kelvin Thomas.

"We are once again inviting all junior supporters on to the pitch to play a giant game of football against the first team, while we will take another huge team photo with players and supporters.

"There will be some other surprises along the way and we hope supporters of all ages will come and join us for what we are sure will be an enjoyable day for all of the family."

Included in the programme of events are stalls and displays from Wacky Faces face painting, Mick George, the University of Northampton, Opus Energy, Boost trampolining, Sixfields Travel Club, the club's community programme and education centre, Northants Cricket, Northants Search and Rescue, Northants Police, Staverton Park and many more!

Admission is free and this event is open to all!
