This week at the Tuesday Club we are very pleased to welcome one of the most admired and in demand DJs in the world… none other than Jackmaster!
A product of the underground, his independent spirit remains intact, while he is equally at home sharing centre-stage with the likes of Seth Troxler and Jamie Jones at DC10 in Ibiza or Ben UFO and Mike Servito at a Numbers warehouse party in London. His lack of musical prejudice, and open-minded approach and ability to adapt to any given situation, underpinned by a knowledge of underground house and techno bordering on the obsessive, are just some of the reasons why year after year he has retained his popularity with the masses. It’s been a few years since he played The Tuesday Club so we are delighted to be welcoming him back!
Supporting him is fellow Glaswegian party starter Jasper James. Being the son of legendary Glaswegian DJ Harri (of Harri & Domenic), Jasper learned to DJ at an early age. He went on to hold the rare accolade of being the youngest DJ ever to play the Sub Club in Glasgow. Since those early sets, Jasper has gone onto develop his own unique style to the point of being able to hold his own during b2b sets with revered DJs such as Gerd Janson and Craig Richards.
Plus, local rising star Coxie will be warming up the night. Usually better known for her deep, rolling DNB sets, tonight she will be exploring another side of the electronic music spectrum – playing house, techno and electro. We’re excited to see where she takes us.
In room 2, GROUNDWORK resident DJs will be spinning funk and soul, afro and deep house, spanning into UK techno and breakbeat. Based out of Sheffield, Groundwork is a series of events which allows local and unheard of new DJ's to express themselves behind the decks, based on there influences from the Sheffield scene and beyond.
