The thrilling true story the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the MV Maersk Alabama, the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years. The film focuses on the relationship between the Alabama's commanding officer, Captain Richard Phillips, and the Somali pirate captain. With a highly acclaimed, powerful performance by Tom Hanks in the title role.

Film Club members free. Non-members pay a £2.50 nightly membership fee at the door. Doors open at 8.00pm.
