Although it's another of those enigmatic forecasts, it's an evening high tide, it's summer and the water's warm, so we're going to see what Chalkwell delivers tonight. Meeting at 6.45pm for a 7pm launch (at www.wetndrysup.com/sup-locations/chalkwell-beach/), it might be we can paddle into the breeze and tide to Old Leigh. Or if not, we can keep it tight off the beach again for more technical training! Either way, leashes are mandatory and wetsuits advisable (note: we're just warning that cross-onshore breeze can throw up some chop, but if you already paddle with us please don't be scared off! It's only water and learning to deal with the rougher stuff is good for technique...)
