So there's no avoiding the fact that tonight will be a breezy one! But it's north-easterly for a change, and with high tide at 7.30pm we're going to try something a bit different – a technical session just off the beach at Chalkwell. Meeting about 6.45pm for a 7pm launch (at www.wetndrysup.com/sup-locations/chalkwell-beach/) we won't be going far, just practicing chop handling, turns, skills and maybe some fun sprint racing tucked out of the wind close inshore. Leashes compulsory, and neoprene highly advisable as the water won't be flat and that wind won't be warm!
